Daniel McCagh is an experimental composer and sound artist currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. McCagh uses a mix of acoustic instruments and digital manipulation to create emotive and cinematic music. Heavily influenced by organic textures and wall-of-sound aesthetics, his work is best described as a dense, layered, and undulating sound bath. McCagh is, most notably, the sole composer and sound designer behind Gutterbox Audio, having composed music and designed sound for art installations, choreographers and global companies such as Polestar, Huawei, Acura and Volkswagen.
